How many wishes would you like to fulfill if you had 365 days of vacation a year?

Have you ever thought about what kind of life you want in retirement? Travel, hobbies, family time? All this is possible – but only if you take care of your pension in time.

Did you know that even today the average pension paid is barely €612.54, and many Slovenians receive an even lower amount than the average?

Back in 1980, three people worked for one pensioner, but today we are already moving towards a ratio of one worker, one pensioner. Fewer working people and more pensioners reduce the amount of pension today and in the future.

How many times do we have the opportunity to save for retirement? There is no make-up exam here

Each of us wants to enjoy the fruits of our labor after many years of employment. To be able to enjoy and do everything without worry that time and obligations did not allow during the active phase. But for retirees, these wishes often do not come true, because the amount of the pension does not even guarantee them basic social security, let alone the fulfillment of other wishes, goals and needs!

My pension, my concern!

Although Slovenia is a welfare state, the concern for a sufficient amount of pension is increasingly being left to each individual. Thus, the difference between the average salary and the average pension is increasing more and more, and demographic forecasts (population aging and low birth rate) suggest that pensions will be even lower in the future.

The facts

  • Today there are 1.33 million people in employment, by 2061 there will be only 880,000
  • Today, there are 366,000 pensioners over the age of 63, and by 2061 there should be 606,000 of us
  • Those who retire today can count on about half the income in retirement.

Only through the correct way of working of the financial advisor does the client find out what is the most suitable offer for him in the given situation. Just as a doctor must perform a thorough examination before making a diagnosis, the individual situation of each individual is vitally important when it comes to financial advice. A professional analysis highlights your personal situation, which is then taken into account when choosing a suitable offer, written on the individual’s skin.

Each person is a personality for himself. And only when you get to know a person, listen to them, analyze the situation, can you really give them good advice. Instant advice does not exist. We will be happy to make time for you! Call us and arrange your personal meeting.

From challenge to result

A challenge

Mateja wanted to get an opinion on different forms of saving for retirement. For herself, she wanted a personal pension calculation and a solution to cover the loss of income that will occur upon retirement. Due to her specific employment situation, she wanted to obtain a savings proposal that is not tied to years or monthly payments, since her income is also quite fluctuating.

The solution

After the first meeting and after analyzing the situation, I created an individual financial plan for Mateja, explaining the proposal and solution to cover her projected pension gap. In the proposal, I compared different forms of savings and in the end decided to propose the one that best suited Mateja and her expectations. The financial plan contained an explanation of all costs, an explanation of risks and the tax aspect of various forms of savings. With this, Mateja got the whole picture and was able to correctly decide what to do to solve her situation.

The result

Today, Mateja is right in the middle of the path of saving for his pension, and regular monitoring of investments currently shows that after halfway the principal is even a little higher than the expectations indicated by the calculations at the beginning of our journey together. Mateja is most satisfied with the fact that she has "open" savings, which she can adapt to her needs on the fly, and above all, that her savings are resistant to potential risks in the future.
