Some ETF funds, compared to mutual funds, have up to 10 times lower annual management costs, which is ultimately very noticeable in the earnings of the money after the end of the investment.
A mutual fund that invests in US stocks has an average annual management fee of somewhere up to 2.5%; An ETF fund that invests the same, i.e. in American stocks, has only 0.07% annual management fee – the difference is obvious!
The research showed that the US stock index itself grew at an annual rate of 10.35% per year over a 30-year period. During the same period, the average investor achieved a much lower return, only 3.66% annually.
